• If child support is a consideration, a Child Support Guidelines Worksheet must also be completed.
• The petitioner must also file several other documents, including a Family Law Financial Affidavit, Notice of Social Security Number, Notice of Current Address and Marital Settlement Agreement, and depending on the circumstances, the standard Family Law Interrogatories for Original or Enforcement Proceedings, which enlarge the financial information requested in the Family Law Financial Affidavit.
• Once the paperwork has been filed, the petitioner is required to schedule a divorce hearing for the final judgment.
• At the divorce hearing, the appropriate version of the Final Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage is filed, depending upon the circumstances of the divorce.
